IS THERE A KARAOKE FEE ASSOCIATED WITH MY EVENT BOOKING?
Our karaoke system is a great addition to any event or celebration and is complimentary with your event booking. Our karaoke system hosts an extensive catalog of music and wireless microphones for your guests to have fun with.
IS THERE A ROOM HIRE FEE?
We don’t apply a room hire fee; however, there is a minimum spend requirement of $2500 for an evening event and $1500 for a lunch/afternoon event.
IS THERE A MAXIMUM SEATING CAPACITY?
Our dining table seats a maximum of 24 guests.
IS THERE A DESIGNATED SMOKING AREA?
Tokyo Private is a strictly no smoking zone, includinge-cigarettes. If you wish to smoke, please do so outdoors and standat least 5 meters away from outdoor dining areas.
CAN I PLAY MY OWN MUSIC IN THE PRIVATE DINING SPACE?
You are welcome to play music as you wish via the app Spotifyl ocated on the iPad located in Tokyo Tina private.
ARE CHILDREN WELCOME AT TOKYO TINA PRIVATE?
We are a family friendly venue. Children 12 or below aren’t required to dine in on our set menu, instead a meal can be ordered from our a la carte menu.
IS TOKYO TINA PRIVATE DISABILITY FRIENDLY? We are a disability friendly venue, with full disabled access.
DO I NEED TO BRING IDENTIFICATION?
Yes, we are a licensed venue. ID will be checked for guests to appear under 25 years of age.
CAN I BYO?
No beverages of any kind will be permitted to be brought into Tokyo Tina Private for guest consumption.
WHAT ARE YOUR ALLOCATED EVENT TIMINGS?
For lunch bookings, the space is yours from 12:00pm-5:00pm, and dinner 6:00pm - 11:00pm.
IS THERE A PUBLIC HOLIDAY SURCHARGE?
On public holidays a 15% surcharge will be applied to your final bill.

DEPOSIT
A security deposit of 20% of the minimum spend is required to secure your booking.
Any function booked at Tokyo Tina Private is not considered confirmed until the desposit is paid in full. We can tentatively hold a booking date for 7 days.
CONFIRMATION
To confirm your booking, please follow these steps:
Notify us of your intention to proceed with your booking.
Pay the required deposit (please note that all credit card payments will incur a processing fee of 2%). The deposit will be credited toward your food and beverage expenses.
MINIMUM SPEND
The minimum spend for your function will be confirmed via email before you make the deposit. The minimum spend represents the minimum cost of food and beverages for your event. Additional items or services, such as special equipment provided by us, do not contribute to the minimum spend. If your function does not meet the minimum spend, you will be required to pay the balance of the minimum spend amount.
All credit card payments will incur a processing fee of 2% for domestic and 3.15% for international credit cards.
Please note, all bookings larger than 14 will incur a 10% service charge.
CANCELLATION
While we will do our best to accommodate changes to your booking, please be aware of the following cancellation policy:
If you cancel within 7 days of your booking, a cancellation fee of 50% of the confirmed food and beverage selections will apply. Your deposit will be applied to cover this fee.
If you cancel between 8-14 days before your booking date, your deposit will be forfeited in full.
If you cancel 15 days or more before your booking date, we will refund your deposit.
In cases where we are forced to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, such as periods of restricted trading, we will work with you to reschedule your booking, and you will receive a credit for any payments made.
DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
We make every effort to accommodate dietary requirements and will inform you if we are unable to do so. When we agree to cater to special dietary needs, it is the responsibility of the individual with these requirements to confirm with our staff before consuming food or beverages. We will take reasonable steps to avoid cross-contamination, but we cannot guarantee it will not occur.
Final confirmation of dietary requirements is required 7 days prior to your booking.
Additionally, you must confirm final guest numbers, including the full name of any guest with dietary requirements we’ve agreed to accommodate, via email or phone. After this final confirmation, we may not be able to accommodate an increase in guest numbers or a change in dietary requirements. If guest numbers decrease, a fee of $40 will apply for each guest no longer attending.
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY
As the client, it is your responsibility to ensure that all guests behave in an orderly manner during the event. Guests are expected to comply with the behavioral codes of the restaurant and adhere to Licensing Laws, such as Responsible Service of Alcohol, under which the restaurant operates.
We will comply with all applicable license requirements, including responsible service of alcohol, trading hours, and the impact of our operations on the surrounding area, including noise restrictions.
We reserve th eright to refuse service of alcohol to any person and may require noise reduction if necessary. Any damage to the premises, persons, or equipment as a result of disorderly conduct by guests at the event will be the responsibility of the client. In the event of damage, Any damage to the venue or venue equipment will result in a reimbursement request for repair or replacement and all associated costs will be charged to the nominated credit card.
Our policy is to provide you with the best possible service through our friendly and professional staff to ensure the success of your event. Management’s discretion will ensure a safe, harmonious, and enjoyable event.
MUSIC AND AV
Use of the venue’s sound system is available at no extra cost. Music must not exceed a background level and may be decreased at the discretion of the restaurant management. The space is equipped with a 50” LCD screen and a sound system for presentations and slideshows. For presentations, an HDMI cable will need to be supplied.

EXTERNAL SUPPLIERS AND DECORATIONS
Tokyo Tina Private does not allow any external food products to be brought into the venue with the exception of a celebration cake.
Please refer to the access times specified in this document for your venue. Any special requests, including layout, bump-in, and bumpout times, must be confirmed via email or phone 7 days prior to your event. You are welcome to arrange external entertainment, provided it complies with legal standards, is not offensive, and does not pose a risk to our staff, guests, or the venue. If you plan to use decorations such as flowers or installations, please consult with the Venue Manager or Functions Manager before making any bookings. Decorations that are deemed inappropriate by Management will be refused. Note, attaching objects to walls that may cause damage is not permitted. It is your responsibility to ensure that all external property is removed at the end of the event. Storage of items overnight is not permitted.
